Depression and Counseling
Are any of these depression questions true for you or someone you care about?
Have you been feeling sad or "blue" lately?
Do you feel constantly disappointed, apathetic, or disillusioned with things?
Are you isolating from friends and family because you just don't feel like talking?
Are you feeling overwhelmed, tired and frustrated by too many responsibilities and not enough time?
If any of these are true for you or someone you care about, you might be suffering from feelings of depression. However, you may also be suffering from situational or environmental stress, or having a normal response to living in a complex, challenging and at times dysfunctional modern world.
Often "depression" like feelings are to be expected given challenging life circumstances such as few opportunities, economic problems, or family history of dysfunction and tragedy to name a few. Many of us deal with these issues every day.
If you want to...
- Explore feelings of despair, despondency, apathy, demoralization or other "depression" like feelings in a safe, non-labeling, and supportive environment.
- Understand how you manifest "depression" like feelings and what you can do to take better care of yourself.
- Learn how to love yourself more and build a positive relationship with yourself, others, and your community to counteract "depression" like feelings.
- Discover your unique tools and skills needed to better cope with "depression" like feelings and negative thoughts and emotions.
Consider starting a counseling relationship for possible symptoms of depression or for "depression" like thoughts and feelings. I have 20 years professional experience working with many issues such as "depression" and "anxiety". There are many counselor's to choose from, but I put myself forward because I believe in what I do and I know empathic counseling for depression and "depression" like feelings can work.
Depression and a Counseling Relationship
