What are Flower Essences?
Flower essences are a form of energy healing that works on a subtle vibrational level to help you balance emotional patterns. Physically flower essences are purified water that is infused with the vibrational pattern of specific flowers that have been shown to have correspondence with certain emotional patterns in the personality complex and a small portion of brandy to preserve the mixture.
Who discovered Flower Essences?
Dr. Edward Bach was the first person to uncover the essence of flowers for emotional healing in the 1920s. Dr. Bach was a respected bacteriologist and homeopath.
Dr. Bach suffered from many illnesses and through this “discovered” the flower essences. There are 38 Bach Flower Essences and production continues today.
How do I use flower essences?
There are many types of essences. The most popular is the Bach Flower Remedies. You can also purchase California, Alaska, Flower Essences Society, New Zealand Essences and many others. Flower essences can be used orally by placing 3-7 drops into water, juice, or tea. Flower Essences can also be added to bath water or applied directly to your skin.
Are Flower essences safe?
Yes they are completely safe. Flower essences do not interfere with medications or herbal supplements. Flower essences can also be used by children, pets, and plants and it is reported that the results are even better because there is no resistance or skepticism.
How do I know which essences are right for me?
Flower essences correspond with emotional states. If you are feeling lonely there is an essence that corresponds with loneliness. Bach Flower Remedies indicate on their label their intended use. Other essences do the same. You could also consider having a complete consultation. A Flower Essence Consultant will ask you questions that pinpoint which remedies will be useful. A combination of flower essences is also effective.
How often do I take the flower essences?
Take them as often as you remember. It is suggested that you take them at least 4 times a day and I recommend that you take them in your daily drinking water.
How long do I take the flower essences?
Take them until you notice a decline in the energy of your emotional state or until you naturally forget to take them. This natural decline in use can indicate that on an energy level you no longer need the essences.
